Benefits of Silk Garments:

Hypoallergenic: Silk is a natural fiber that is hypoallergenic. It contains a natural substance called sericin, which has been shown to reduce inflammation and promote healing. This makes silk an ideal choice for people with sensitive skin or skin conditions.

Moisture-wicking: Silk is breathable and has the ability to absorb moisture from the skin, keeping you cool and dry throughout the day.

Luxurious feel: Silk has a soft and luxurious texture that feels amazing against the skin, making it a pleasure to wear. Silk also has a high thread count, which means that it is very soft and gentle on the skin.

Versatile: Silk can be worn in a variety of settings, from formal events to everyday wear, and comes in a range of colors and styles to suit any taste.

Protect skin from UV damage: Silk is a natural fiber that absorbs UV light and reflects it back into the atmosphere. This helps to protect the skin from the damaging effects of the sun's rays.

Silk is a luxuriousand delicate fabric that requires special care to maintain its beauty and longevity. To ensure your silk shirt stays in excellent condition, please follow these instructions.

Care and Maintenance Guide

Hand wash or dry clean only

Silk shirts should never be machine washed or dried as the heat, moisture, and friction can cause the fabric to shrink, fade, and lose its luster. If you must wash your shirt at home, use a mild detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics and hand wash it gently in cold water. Avoid twisting or wringing the fabric, and instead, gently squeeze out excess water. Natural materials have lower colorfastness than chemical fibers, so soaking washing is not recommended.

Avoid harsh chemicals

Do not use bleach, fabric softeners, or any other harsh chemicals on your silk shirt as they can damage the fabric and cause discoloration. If you need to remove stains or spots, spot-test a small, inconspicuous area first before applying any cleaning solution.

Hang to dry

After washing, hang your silk shirt to air dry instead of using a dryer. Heat and moisture from the dryer can damage the fabric, so avoid this at all costs. If you need to speed up the drying process, you can place the shirt on a flat surface and prop it up with wooden hangers to allow air to circulate
around it. Slight fading may occur during washing, but it does not affect the luster or the original color of the clothing.

Iron with care

If you need to iron your silk shirt, do so on low heat with a cool iron and a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric. Use gentle pressure and move the iron in a back-and-forth motion to avoid scorching or damaging the fabric. Avoid direct contact between the iron and the silk at all times.

Store properly

When not in use, store your silk shirt in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Fold it neatly and wrap it in acid-free tissue paper or a breathable garment bag to prevent dust and moths from settling on the fabric. Avoid storing silk shirts in plastic bags or containers as they can trap moisture and cause mildew.

Silk material is thin and transparent, making it a preferred choice for summer wear. It is recommended to choose light-colored undershirts.
